Samichlaus is Coming to Town! 🎅🏻

Dear Families,
We are excited to announce that this year's visit from Samichlaus will be held indoors at Golden's Calvary Church on December 8th 2:00 PM following feedback from last year's outdoor event. This free event promises to be a fun experience for the whole family!
Children will have the opportunity to create a fun craft and enjoy surprise entertainment while waiting for Samichlaus to arrive. We kindly ask that each family bring a sweet or savory treat to share, as coffee and drinks will be provided.
Please remember to send your notes for Santa to Jessica Currat by December 3rd. If you have any questions, feel free to please contact our event coordinator, Jenna Elsener.

Adams Mystery Dinner Playhouse - Murder at North Pole Land

Come and join us for a festive night out at Adams Mystery Playhouse.
Enjoy dinner with friends while the play "Murder at North Pole Land" is happening around us.
SAFS is sponsoring this event and offering a limited number tickets at $50 per SAFS member ($52 after online fees) which includes dinner, show and gratuity (alcohol available for purchase). Only a handful of tickets remain for members with current membership. Price for guests, non-members, or late sign-ups is $76 per person ($80 with online fees).
Time: arrive no later than 5:45 PM please. Event ends at 8:30 PM.

For our Stammtisch North, the SAFS visits the new Prost Brewing Company Northglenn Biergarten near 104th and I-25. Come over after your day is complete and join us for a pint. 🍻 Besides traditional German stye beers, Prost has cider and wine plus delicious, traditional German food. The holiday season is coming which, means it time for the SAFS to visit the Denver Christkindlmarket at Civic Center Park in Downtown Denver! We choose Thursday nights for this event because the market closes too early on our normal Wednesday night, so RSVP now via email so we can get a head count and, if it’s not too late, reserve at least one to two table (final confirmation still TBD). Thank you to all the SAFS members and Colorado Swiss that attended our 26th Annual Coupe Colorado Jass Tournament! The event was a great success with the club maxing out with 36 players over a week before registration closed. Email us your ideas for a new venue next year und Jass on! 🇨🇭
Congratulations to long time member and Jasser Angela Schulthess for the highest overall score of 3,501 points and congratulations to Serge Fayeulle, another long time member who shared the highest single round score of with new SAFS member Isabelle Blackwell! Hopp Schwiiz! 🇨🇭
