The SAFS is a non-profit organization dedicated to foster and advance friendship and goodwill between the people of the state of Colorado and Switzerland through social and cultural programs. We strive to serve all persons having a natural interest in the two nations.

SAFS Boards the
Winter Park Express

The SAFS is planning a trip aboard the Winter Park Express again and we invite you to join us!

This beautiful 2+ hour one way train trip (roughly 5 hours round trip) takes you from Union Station in Downtown Denver, through the Rocky Mountain foothills, then through the historic Moffat Tunnel and ending in the exciting Winter Park Ski Resort where we will have over six hours for many Winter activities available including skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and snowshoeing (just to name a few).

For Stammtisch South, the SAFS returns to an old time favorite, Bull & Bush Pub & Brewery. Just east of Glendale and modeled after the original British pub with the same name from across the pond, the local version has great beer, wine and spirits and English style food to match the Old-English theme! 🇬🇧

Join the SAFS every third Wednesday of the Month for Swiss Stammtisch in Boulder County, for food, drinks, Schwiizerduetsch, and perhaps a game of Jass.

In tune with the value’s of the Emilia-Romagna’s region, our philosophy is to use organic ingredients from local farmers, and green, unaltered products whenever possible.

Our menu is vast and diverse. Traditional Italian dishes such as pastas, pizzas, salads, meat, poultry and seafood abound in various styles. The cheeses are all lactose free; a couple are made in house and the others are imported directly from Rome and Naples. The chefs always prepare unique daily specials that will surely exceed your expectations

As the weather gets cooler, we definitely picked a good weekend for a small pickleball event last Sunday! Small group, but fun afternoon on two of Clement Park's courts. Thank you Kristina for leading, teaching and of course, bringing the equipment!
